Back in 2012, sources of information were either rife with academic trilogies or sprinkled with fishy fairy tales about data-science magic. I started coding algorithms without having a clear understanding of the concepts. I feel frustrated about it.

It took several months before I understood the algorithms behind the concepts of machine learning and its subfields: Supervised Learning, Non-supervised Learning and Deep Learning. A few months ago, I asked myself what kind of advice I would provide to my younger self ten years ago.
